Security Encryption

Recognising the importance of your security, Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption is used for all sensitive data, the SSL certificate details can be viewed by clicking on the padlock icon on your browser while on our secure shopping cart checkout which is operated by RomanCart, and the payment card processing area which is handled by WorldPay or PayPal.  (Netscape & Firefox browsers use a ‘key’ icon, Microsoft Internet Explorer displays a ‘padlock’ icon.)

Amourelle Products do not have access to your credit card details or other sensitive information.  All our card transactions are processed by WorldPay or PayPal, who use the highest level of encryption to ensure that your credit card details are kept secure at all times. WorldPay and PayPal protect your financial information with industry-leading bank approved security and fraud prevention systems and do not share your card details with the merchant so none of your details are revealed to ourselves or stored on our system.

Our credit card processors, WorldPay or PayPal, check the cardholders address entered on the order against the address held by the card issuing bank and send us a security alert if these details fail to match.  In these circumstances we may contact the buyer by email for verification before despatching the goods.  If the customer has provided a non-working email address or false telephone number the order will be placed on hold until contact is made.
